Day 1 :Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erg Chebbi Dunes Merzouga

Your tour starts at 8:00 am with a pickup from your riad or hotel. Departure to Merzouga where the Erg Chebbi Dunes are located known for their great height and size up to 50 meters high that stretch east into the Algerian Sahara through the Middle atlas Mountains.The journey will include a stop in Ifrane, a Berber village known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” because of the style of the buildings.Then head to the Azrou cedar forest where you can see monkeys in their natural habitat. You’ll continue until you reach the main Saharan town, Rissani, where a 4×4 will be waiting to take you deeper into the desert. Then ride across the rocky plateaus of the black Desert Hamada until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear out of nowhere. Then enjoy a camel ride for an hour and half at the sunset to reach our private camp surrounded by towering sand dunes. Relax, listen to some traditional Berber music, and watch the moon and the stars in the amazing Sahara. Diner and stay overnight in Merzouga desert camp.

Day 2 : Erg Chebbi – Todra Gorges – Kasbah Taourirt – Marrakech

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes and ride your camel back to the hotel where you will have breakfast. Then drive to Marrakech through the Todra Gorges, a 300m high canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinghir where you can do some hiking. Afterwards, visit the kasbah of Taourirt. It is one of the most attractive and beautiful sites in southern Morocco, and is considered a UNESCO world heritage site. Go for a walk and explore the kasbah, which was built in the traditional Moroccan-style of architecture. You’ll continue your trip to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pas where you will enjoy snaky road, beautiful landscapes and Berber villages along the ways. End of your journey in Marrakesh, where you will be dropped off in the new medina.
