20 Days Tour From Casablanca to Desert
Day 1 Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel
Arrival at the airport of Casablanca Mohammed V, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Casablanca – Rabat
Starts to Rabat and we will visit Hassan 2 mosque, then Casablanca beach. Then we drive to Rabat which is an capital of kingdom where we will visit Mohamed V mausoleum, the Royal Palace gardens, the Oudaya gardens and the Chellah. overnight in lovely riad.
Day 3 A Full Day to Visit Rabat
We will have a guided city tour of Rabat that will start at the Royal palace , then Chellah Nechropolis , Hassan tour and Mohamed the 5th mausoleum. After lunch we will have a guided walking tour in the medina followed by a free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in Rabat.
Day 4 Rabat – Chefchaouen
Today we head for the north to Chefchaouen . You will have guided tour of medina, Here we spend two nights in a local riad. Dinners and breakfasts included in the riad.
Day 5 Chefchaouen – Tangier – Asilah
Today we continue driving to Tangier to explore its local medina. You will explore also the Mediterranean beach part and also the Atlantic coast. We will visit Asilah and we stay here overnight in local riad.
Day 6 Asilah – Fes
Today we explore Asilah in the morning and then we drive to Fez where we spend next 2 nights in a local riad.
Day 7 Full Day To Visit Fes
After breakfast, you will begin your visit of Fes with local guide; you will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Day 8 Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After the breakfast we will start our day to Merzouga crossing the Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou. Lunch in a small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive to Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet then we continue to Merzouga. Overnight in a hotel near the dunes.
Day 9 Merzouga – Berber Families – Black Desert – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)
After breakfast in the hotel you’ll start your visit the village of Khamlia, visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. On the afternoon you will ride camel to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your first night under the stars Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night.
After breakfast in the hotel we’ll drive through Dades Valley. We’ll stop at Kalaa Mgouna, Continue to Skoura and the dirds valley; visit the Kasbah Ameridil, After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate “the Hollywood of Africa”. Overnight accommodation will be in riad.
Day 11 Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant
After breakfast in your riad, visit to Ait benhadou kasbah we drive to Taznakht, Taliouine, and Taroudant; we have some stops photos along the road. dinner and overnight in lovely hotel.
Day 12 Taroudant – Tafraout – Sidi Ifni
Breakfast in the riad, and then head for Sidi Ifni, travelling via Tafraout. Our first stop will be at Tiznit, a resort city which was a very big tourist destination for many years. After lunch and a small walk along the Promenade, you will continue to Sidi Ifni. The coastal road offers beautiful scenery, an area famous for the Argan trees. Here you will see herds of goats climbing the Argan trees looking for better food than they can find on the ground. After several stops along the coast we get to Sidi Ifni in the afternoon. Overnight accommodation at a riad/hotel.
Day 13 Sidi Ifni – Essaouira
Breakfast in the riad, and then head for Essaouira, travelling via agadir through the atlantic coast, arrive to Essaouira in afternoon.
Day 14 Exploring Essaouira
Breakfast at the hotel in Essaouira, then start our explorative journey of the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Today you will have lunch in a Moroccan way, freshly bought fishes ‘cooked to order’. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander around , go to the beach and enjoy time to yourselves. Essaouira is also referred to as The “City of the Wind” and it attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilisations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually it starts in the second week of June.
Day 15 Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast in your riad, you will have some free time before leaving for Marrakech. On our way – since this is the land of Argan culture – this is an opportunity to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. After several stops to take photographs, you will continue your travel to Marrakech and check in to your riad. After dinner you will have the option to enjoy walking within the famous square of Jemaa El fna, entertained with magicians, story tellers, musicians and snake charmers.
Day 16 Full Day To Visit Marrakech
A full-day tour of Marrakech, visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery. Optional lunch will be in the medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner and night at hotel.
